Cherry Kush is also sometimes known as Cherry Pie, due to its pleasing color and delicious flavor. This genetic cross is where potency meets flavour and creates something beautiful. Connoisseurs should stand up and take note, Cherry Kush comes highly recommended.

Cherry Kush can produce up to 23% THC and is an indica dominant strain just like it’s parents. It is a 75% Indica and 25% Sativa hybrid which grows in your typical indica tree shape, with a large central cola and wide, dark fan leaves. She’s a beautiful looking specimen, with nugs turning a vibrant green and pink, giving excellent bag appeal. Those looking for a strain that has potency, flavour and beauty will find it all in the Cherry Kush strain.

The smoke and flavour are the definite highlights of this strain. The initial sweet and sour cherry taste is backed up with hashy, earthy undertones. If you’re looking for a strain you can really enjoy smoking but can also help you relax or help manage chronic pain, then this is the strain for you. The high is fast acting, starting off cerebral with uplifting and euphoric effects. It then slowly ebbs nicely into a deep, heavy, sedative stone. So, too many tokes and you may just find yourself stuck to the couch. Therefore, we’d say this strain is best suited for evening and night time use because of its strong indica effects.

The average grower will easily get a decent yield of 300-400 g/m2 at harvest time. Cherry Kush is the perfect strain for SOG or SCROG setups and will yield up to 600 g/m2 at optimum levels. You can expect much more at harvest time if you are growing outdoors. The flowering time for Cherry Kush is between 8-10 weeks. Buds are big and dense, becoming absolutely covered in THC when given the full 10-week flower time, increasing its strength significantly.

This strain is very robust making it easy to grow. A beginner could successfully harvest a generous yield from this strain if they are serious about their plant care. With a medium height between 100-180cm, some training may be needed for indoor cannabis grows.
